Peanut Butter Cookies!

This week I made peanut  Butter cookies!

The cookie itself was salty, and crunchy on the edges with each bite the sweet flavor came out.  At the center there is a soft core that melts in your mouth, then it slowly turns back into the salty crunch.

Recipe:
1 cup of peanut butter
1 cup of sugar
1 egg

First put the peanut butter into the mixer with the sugar.  Then whip the egg and add it to the bowl as well.  Once mixed, form the dough into small balls with your hand.  Then put the balls onto a cooking pan and smoosh them with a fork in a criss cross pattern.  Next put them into the oven at 350 degrees,  check them repeatedly to ensure they do not get burned.

My family enjoyed the cookies but, unanimously agreed they were a bit chewy.  I have no solution to fix this, but it could be the type of peanut butter used.  If I was to make them again I would use a peanut butter with less sugar (I used Skippy)

Poppin Cooking Candy Sushi

This week I decided to try something different.  The Poppin Cooking Candy Sushi Maker.  I decided to do this because my cousin came up for a visit and brought the sushi set.  My little sister loves the Poppin Cooking Sets and frequently searches them on the internet.  The Poppin Cooking Candy Sushi Maker will allow me to try something new and fun, as well as cook with my little sister Ocean.

The Poppin Cooking Sushi Set was very fun and definitely unlike anything I had ever done before.
It was interesting "cooking" with my siblings who tend to be a bit wild at times.  It was grape flavored. The grape flavoring actually wasn't bad at all.  My sister Ocean liked the tuna sushi and my brother Rhodes enjoyed the salmon roe the most.  If I could give anyone a tip on this, it would to be sure to spread the powders evenly, as the mixing process will be much easier.

The instructions were in Japanese but they included helpful pictures, and of course feel no shame in using the internet for help.  If you are looking for a fast easy and strange desert I would recomend this.  If you do not enjoy grape and strange textures I would not recomend this.

I had a lot of fun interacting with my siblings in a fun way. I think we all enjoyed popping and cooking together. It was something sweet so my siblings enjoyed it and I enjoyed the strange flavor and texture.  The Poppin Cooking Sets are fun, and if you dont like sushi they also make burgers, pizza, and even ice cream!
