Pancake Doughnuts

This Week I made pancake doughnuts, they are easy and fun.  However you do need some type of doughnut maker, I used a baby cakes doughnut maker.

Recipe:
Mash one banana
add one egg and whisk withe the banana
get another bowl and add 3 1/2 cups of flower 7 teaspoons of baking powder, 2 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda, 2 teaspoons of salt, and a table spoon of sugar then whisk the dry together.
Then add 2 1/2 cups of milk to the wet ingredients and whisk now mix the wet and dry then you are ready for doughnuts!

These doughnuts are soft and fluffy like pancakes and cooked evenly they are great with syrup, powdered sugar, and caramel sauce.

Home Made Mochi

Recipe ( not recommended)
Boil 3 cups of water then lower the heat.
Add in corn syrup or sugar
Then add in food coloring
And gradually mix in 16oz of sweet rice flour
Then while it's still hot mix in sugar as desired then spread a large amount of potato starch on a board and grab globs and douse it in the starch and then shape it into small cakes the. Let them cool in the fridge and prepare for a feeling of both satisfaction and enjoyment.

This home made mochi was nearly complete fail the recipe I used was for mochi with filling.  So it was very soft almost a liquid, although the texture was off the taste was spot on, and when refridgerated they became thicker and resembled normal desert mochi.  When I make them again I will be sure to use a different recipe in which the batter is much thicker.

Fried Dough

Fried dough is a great dessert or breakfast that is a tasty cross between doughnuts and churros.

Fried dough is easy all you need is a simple bread dough.  The recipe I used is:

2 tsp of yeast
1 T brown sugar
3 cups of flour
1 1/2 cups of water
1 tsp of salt

Mix well and let sit for at least 1 hour then heat up some oil and get cooking.

Fried dough is one of my favorite foods, I can't get enough the crunchy outside and soft inside it is just the best.

Delicious Sugar Cookie

These sugar cookies turned out great.  My family enjoyed them and my little brother and sister couldn't get enough.  My Mother thought they were really good and my Dad thought they were tasty.  I liked them alot.

The cookies were soft and surprisingly doughy, and did not get old after a couple of days as a lot of cookies do.
